During my time on Council, I strongly advocated for funds for various remediation measures, and have pushed for faster implementation to deal with the issues of algal bloom and midges.
I successfully argued against imposing higher rates on nearby ratepayers.
I strongly opposed the proposal to have a new road constructed along the current walking/cycling path, to protect this beautiful natural area.
