Back in 2017, I publicly opposed the WA Planning Commission’s proposal to significantly widen Guildford Road, which would have had a major impact on our community, including on heritage buildings and businesses. The plan was eventually knocked back by the Minister for Planning.
Nevertheless, I am supportive of safety and amenity improvements to Guildford Road and its verges/footpaths.
